These Terms & Conditions ("T&C") define the relationship between the journal, its contributors (authors, reviewers, and editors), and its readers or subscribers. By using our platform, you consent to these terms, including but not limited to:

• Submitting peer-reviewed manuscripts or video proposals for editorial evaluation.

• Receiv
  ing editorial feedback or peer-review comments.

• Accessing member-only or paid video content if subscribed.

• Engaging in journal-related communication or events.
   

3. Content Ownership & Licensing

• Authors retain copyright of submitted content but grant SciVid a non-exclusive license to publish accepted materials in video or hybrid formats.

• All accepted video papers will be archived and may receive DOI assignment and indexing, subject to external database approval.

• Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts or media do not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyright, intellectual property, or confidentiality agreements.
   

4. Payment & Refund Policy
Access to premium content may require a recurring monthly fee or a one-time payment, as indicated on the respective plan page. Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party gateways.
Refunds are not offered for digital content unless a technical issue prevents access and cannot be resolved within 72 hours. Contact us at editor@scividjournal.com for support.

5. Video Script Adaptation and Editorial Process
By submitting a manuscript, you acknowledge that our editorial team may suggest modifications for clarity, scientific rigor, or narrative style. Authors may be invited to participate in the video script adaptation and approve final content prior to publication. Participation in the script review process is optional but strongly encouraged.

6. Limitation of Liability
SciVid Journal and its affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this platform, including content accuracy, site downtim
e, or third-party errors in DOI assignment or hosting. Our content is meant to support, not replace, formal academic training or institutional policy.

7. Account Access & Termination
SciVid reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account found in violation of these Terms, including plagiarism, abuse of the platform, or unauthorized content distribution. In such cases, access to paid or restricted areas may be revoked without refund.

8. Changes to Terms
SciVid Journal may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. All changes will be posted here, and continued use of the site implies acceptance of revised terms.
